Who we are

SHENOY AUDIO is a SINGAPORE based Audio Engineering and musical instrument firm founded by GRAMMY® Award Nominated Artist, Producer and Professional Audio Engineer ARUN SHENOY.

As part of our motto “towards our never ending quest for purity of sound” we aim to provide a world class audio experience combined with state of the art technology at pleasingly mid-range prices. Because everyone deserves to enjoy great sound just as the recording artists intended.

Arun Shenoy, the man behind the vision

ARUN SHENOY is a GRAMMY® Award nominated Artist, Songwriter & Music Producer. He is best known globally for his solo productions as well as for his work with the star studded Contemporary Jazz supergroup, THE GROOVE PROJECT. His wide ranging musical style spans the genres of Contemporary & Smooth Jazz, to World Fusion embracing Spanish Flamenco, Afro Cuban Rumba and Indian Ethnic aesthetics.

Shenoy, who turned 48 this year, has received significant critical acclaim over the years for his work. American music critic Jonathan Widran writes that Shenoy’s discography may sound a bit scattered, but it is reflective of a brilliant, multi-faceted creative mind, pushed relentlessly by a restless spirit. He has noted Shenoy’s work as some of the most compelling, heartfelt and life affirming music he has heard.

Shenoy’s catalog of original music is spread across 6 full length albums, 11 stand alone Singles, 2 EPs, and a handful of collaborations for Lo-Fi and House remixes of his work.

Shenoy is a former Audio Research Scientist with a post graduate degree in Computational Audio from the National University of Singapore (NUS). His research work has appeared in the proceeding of top ranked international conferences such as ACM Multimedia and ISMIR, and top ranked journals such as IEEE Transactions on Audio, Speech, and Language Processing, and Computer Music Journal. Shenoy was conferred the Outstanding Computing Alumni Award by the School of Computing at NUS, Singapore in 2018 and is also a Distinguished Alumni of MIT, Manipal.
