Drivers: New Generation Bio-Composite
New generation 45mm Bio-Composite diaphragm that produces accurate and clean sound reproduction with natural mids, full highs and rich bass giving you every bit of detail. The vast majority of dynamic headphones in the market (>90%) uses Mylar as a diaphragm material for dynamic drivers. Mylar is also known as polyethylene terephthalate, or PET, which is used in water or soda bottles. Newer generation and more premium dynamic headphones are known to use Graphene or Titanium Drivers. The ELEVATE proudly sports cutting edge Bio-composite diaphragm drivers. Bio-composite or Bio-cellulose is an interesting material for many reasons - it’s renewable, biodegradable, and has great acoustic properties. Bio-cellulose diaphragm is able to reproduce music faithfully with great clarity, even at high volume levels on account of low levels of harmonic distortion compared to other types of dynamic drivers.
Magnets: High End Neodymium
For the ELEVATE speaker units, we paired the bio-cellulose diaphragm with a high-grade N35 Neodymium magnet, resulting in a speaker unit with a clear mid-range, better dynamics, and a more natural overall tonality. Neodymium magnets are lighter and smaller than other magnets, making them a perfect choice for earbuds and headphones. These magnets pack more magnetic energy per ounce than other magnets. In fact, their sound definition and base performance is eight times better than a ferrite magnet. Neodymium magnets produce a higher sensitivity and substantial sound output using less power to do so. They can help produce music at quite a high SPL level (sound pressure level) with the use of high magnetic flux. Thus, they allow you to create a better headphone, with excellent sound quality.
ANC: Advanced Hybrid ANC KR3415/35 chipset
The ELEVATE proudly sports Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology with 4 unique mics for an extended range of noise suppression up to 30dB.
The vast majority of Noise Cancelling headphones available in the market today offer the older, 2 mic based Feedforward Active Noise Cancellation (Mic Outside The Ear Cup) or Feedback Active Noise Cancellation (Mic Inside The Ear Cup). This offers a significantly lower noise suppression of only around 20dB.
The hybrid approach on the Elevate takes the best of both worlds, combining feedforward and feedback ANC by placing a microphone on the inside and outside of the ear cup. Hybrid ANC can suppress noise at a broader range of frequencies, adapt to and correct errors, and is not as sensitive to how the person wears the headset.
